Baker Code House is very pleased to announce our acceptance into Microsoft’s BizSpark program!
What does this mean? Well, for us, it means access to very costly development tools at greatly reduced rates while we get our feet off the ground. Among other things, BizSpark enables us to create dynamic virtual development environments in the Azure cloud – a much better alternative to having to invest heavily into a private cloud solution, especially in complicated environments (e.g. SharePoint 2013 with SQL Server 2014 plus Visual Studio 2013). If you’ve never tried Azure, check it out at http://www.windowsazure.com. (That’s us plugging a technology that we love and use, not us trying to make a penny off of your click. We promise!)
What does this mean for you? It’s simple. Our overhead costs have been cut a great deal. We can provide a high quality product without exorbitant high markup prices. You get high quality solutions at affordable prices. What more could you ask for?
Kudos to Microsoft for coming up with a great program to foster development and support small businesses. Software geeks supporting software geeks – it’s a beautiful thing.
